Wyatt isn't just a happy baby, he's out of control happy. He doesn't just smile, it's like his dimples have a seizure and take over his entire body for a few seconds.

Another really silly looking Ezra....

This is just a goofy picture of Ezra. He was playing and sweating....
I haven't just posted any of my random thoughts in quite a while, and figured you all were missing my ramblings, so here it goes.

Since I've droned on and on last I've not really done anything that exciting. Therefore- I've not posted anything exciting. The weather has been great, so we've been playing outside a lot. The weather here is almost as unpredictable as it was in Rapid. Sunday was beautiful, we played outside, had a mini-picnic followed shortly by a tornado. Yep, a real one. A big one, that touched down 4 miles from our house! Thankfully most of the trailer parks are on the other side of town, so it's furry was directed in the other direction..... I'm kidding, there wasn't any major damage. just a little excitement and embarrassment on my part.

Because I've lived in the Spokane area all my life I've never seen a tornado, or heard the sirens. (I finally figured out what those huge speakers all over town are!) So in typical redneck fashion, while the sirens are sounding, telling everyone to hide, I was standing out in the street with the rest of the neighborhood, trying to catch a glimpse of what might kill us all (just kidding Mom, we were fine!). After the tornado passed us by it began to rain like I've never seen. Just buckets of water dumping out of the sky... And Ben needed some book out of his truck. So, being the wonderful, loving, caring, thoughtful, selfless, gag-me-with-a-spoon-i-wanted-an-excuse-to-play-in-it-wife, that I am, I offered to go get it. ~Remember that the entire neighborhood is still watching the storm~ I ran outside in my flip-flops, only to slide about 6 feet across a VERY muddy parking lot, slip and fall on my bum, and get laughed at by EVERYONE. At least I know I'm a dork and have come to terms with this. I picked myself up out of the mud, bowed gracefully, and made my exit.

Fortunately for me, Ezra dresses himself....
And Wyatt's still happy!
I've been told repeatedly in the last few weeks to get it together and update this thing, so here you go. In typical Wyatt fashion, he's happy. If you look close, you can see his little teeth.
Ezra's been thinking about actually using the toilet, and that would be just fine with me. At the moment, he just takes his clothes off the moment he pees, but isn't really getting that if he'd tell me before hand we could make the whole process a little easier.

Big Cheese

Ezra picked out his new PJ's, and insists on wearing them from about 6:00pm on.

As I've mentioned before, he's a ham, and here he is proving it. He climbs into my shelves and pretends he's sleeping.

This is Wyatt's 'overwhelmed with joy' face. I can't hardly stand it it's so cute.

We've been playing outside a lot this last week, since it's been well into the 80's here. I was surprised at how much he actually enjoyed crawling in the grass. I didn't think that would be very pleasant. I was kind of hoping to keep him in one place!

Ezra has taken up (or down, however you look at it) crawling. Wyatt gets lots of praise for his attempts at actually crawling, and Ezra has decided to hone in on the attention.

Wyatt got his first tooth this week. I get points docked for this I think, because I didn't even know it until he bit my foot and it hurt more than usual. I get double points taken away, for not noticing the tooth, and letting him bite my feet. He's already putting that tooth to work, last night he ate BBQ chicken, corn and potatoes. Not blended up or anything. It makes Ben a little sad, but not so much that he wants more babies. I like it, because I'm only making one dinner!

He has also started pulling himself up on things, which is fine, except that Ezra likes to knock him down. Fortunately Wyatt is pretty tough, and it doesn't seem to bother him much.

This isn't a great picture, since I took it on my phone, but you get the idea that the little bugger is standing on his own right? He's become quite mobile and independent.

Look how much he's changed from the picture in the previous post!!!

Ezra likes that Wyatt can get into stuff now too. This means, that if he opens the dishwasher, and Wyatt crawls in, Wyatt should be in trouble. That seems to be the logic behind a lot of what Ezra's been doing lately.

Doesn't Time Just Fly?

I've been looking through some older pictures (mostly because I've not put new ones on the computer yet...) and came across this. I'm sure I posted this back when I took it, which was last July, but goodness. Look at him! He's changed so much!!!

So has Wyatt. This was the week that my mom came out right after I had him. Back when all he did was sleep..... Now he's eating real food and getting into stuff!
