Shareful

The boys like to sit next to each other to eat. Ezra likes to feed Wyatt whatever he's got, and Wyatt takes what he can get. That means I've got to be a little more careful about what is on Ezra's plate, and how close they are to each other or else Wyatt winds up with things he shouldn't....

Raid At Wal*Mart

Apparently lots of snow and road closures equals no shipments to the Wal*Mart! The store here isn't known for being well stocked as it is, but today was an exception even for them. There were a few half gallons of Whole milk, some strawberry milk, and lots of soy 'milk'.

I was not the only person taking pictures of the refrigerator in the Wal*Mart. There were quite a few people standing around asking if it was a joke or something...

Lucky Kid....

This is Ezra being happy he isn't bald. I gave him a hair cut, and he's very lucky I didn't just shave his head.

Prelude To A Bath

So my pictures are all out of order, but this is what led up to three of us in the bath tub. Those are sweet potatoes he's using as a face mask if you couldn't tell.

Snow Snow Go Away....

We got more snow overnight. A bit more than the 6-8 inches they'd called for.

This is the patio just outside Wyatt's room. Just to the left of this picture was is drift about six feet tall. There were drifts up over the bed of Ben's work truck this morning when he left, which is a little funny if you get to watch him go out to start it before he leaves. It's funny because he just puts his flip-flops on and does a little dance through the snow. Maybe it's one of those things you've gotta see.....

I'd just like to say that before anyone makes assumptions, I was wearing my swim suit.

Wyatt had been eating sweet potatoes, and crackers, and obviously needed a bath.

As I've said before, Ezra likes to help!

Weather You Like It Or Not

So this is March, the end of March mind you, and it is snowing. A LOT. Two days ago it was 70 degrees, and we played in the park. Today, we woke up to 8+ inches of snow. Apparently it's supposed to keep doing this until Friday or Saturday.
This is a picture from my bedroom, just of the neighborhood. As you can see (or not see...) there is a lot of snow piling up.

Bathroom Break

A swear all I did was leave the room long enough to pee.

Lash Out

This isn't a great picture, but since he was sleeping I didn't really want to mess around too much.

I put mascara on him, and just wanted to show off his lashes. There is hardly any, but you can see the tips a little more.

This was the last day that the swing lived at our house. He got too big, as you probably could see from the last picture of him in it. So, the swing went to live with Kylee. She's much smaller for the time being.

Wyatt loved the swing, and tried to get into it on his own, as you can see. He actually had both hands on it at one point pulling himself up, and I didn't have the camera handy.

I was going to put a picture of Wyatt being cranky on to match the post below, and don't get me wrong, we have those days, they are just much fewer and farther between. There are so few of them that I looked through all the pictures and couldn't find a picture of him being cranky that I hadn't already posted. So, here's a picture of him brand new and a little unhappy about his new surroundings.

Crash Landing

I usually post pictures of the boys being little angels, or at least cute. I should be honest though, that is not always the case. We have days where it pretty much looks like this (see picture!) all day. Those are the days I contemplate throwing myself off the deck. Most of the time I just tell myself it will be better tomorrow, and get through it. When we have two days like this, in a row, the deck scenario sounds pretty good though.....

Help Is On The Way!

Ezra is getting to where he loves to help with everything. If I leave Wyatt for a few minutes in the middle of feeding him, he'll take over.

You can see his little ear is still sticking out a little.... It's cute!

Prince Charming

This is part of having our basement out of commission. Ezra has no bedroom. He's enjoying his naps in my bed, and looks really cute there.

Movin' And Groovin'

He's almost mobile!!!!!!!

Danger!!!

I wrote an angry post about my basement, and then my computer shut down and I lost it. Anyway, this is my basement. We've got a mold problem. A big one apparently. So my basement is 'sealed'.

Notice the holes?! That's why I'm angry.

Parental Supervision

Um. I'm a bad mommy. Wyatt was playing on the floor with this cute little duck, and apparently stuck a chunk of it in an outlet. He drools a lot, and that was enough to spark a little fire.

So we lost one duck, and gained one pyromaniac.

Yoda

Ezra's been mostly resting on his left side, and as a result of that, his poor little ear is sticking out much further than his right. I think it's kinda cute. As usual.

Wyatt loves his jumper toy. Ezra likes that he can be face to face with him.

As I've mentioned before, I've been enjoying the amount of cuddling I've been getting to do.

Wyatt used to be satisfied just to watch the bugs and leaves go around, now he wants to eat them.

Bed Time

Both my boys like to be read to, Ezra for the stories and Wyatt because he likes to chew on them.

They are lucky enough to have a daddy with a lap to fit both of them!

Super Eater Guy

Ezra actually sat at the table with us last night, even though he didn't eat anything. We had broccoli, as you can see by the 'tree trunk' he's holding. I like to eat that part, and he figured it looked like a good idea. He didn't take a bite, but looked pretty cute.

He's Sweet On Me...

Wyatt likes to give big wet kisses, and is very pleased with himself afterward. You don't want to see the pictures of him kissing me I promise, it's not pretty....

Playing Fair

I kinda feel like I have to post pictures of Wyatt if I post pictures of Ezra, and Ezra if I post about Wyatt. It's easy to do though. The part I've got trouble with is finding new things to say, because well, frankly the thought that usually pops into my head is "Gosh they're cute!".

On The Move

We've now moved from the couch to the floor. His temperature is still high(103), but coming down a bit. He's just so cute, even sick.

Blackmail.....

This is one of those pictures I can't wait to pull out when he's about 17. Yep, it's a pink Roxy shirt. He really likes it for some reason, and I don't really care if he wears it. Daddy on the other hand.... He might not mind so much if I hadn't painted Ezra's toes pink recently. I was doing mine, and he wanted to participate! So even though he's got socks on, picture pink toes with the pink shirt and mohawk.
The nose picking just completes the look....

Tunes

As I've mentioned before, Ezra loves music. I'd just come home from a four mile run so I had my iPod on (not really a key point, but I'm proud of myself!). He goes for my iPod like a vulture to road kill. Nice mental picture huh?

The other thing I wanted to point out in this picture is my shirt. My sweet nephew Zeke made it for me. It's a dinosaur!!!!

For his 5th birthday party he made shirts for all the family members with his drawings of dinosaurs and happy spiders. I was sad that I couldn't be there, so they were kind and sent me one of my own.

The gift of music.... He's sharefull.

Easy Killer

This was a few weeks ago, when both boys were feeling good. Ezra likes(d) to play with this bag, and was kind enough to share it with Wyatt. He also shared the blanket. Wyatt attacked the bag with a vengeance, and tolerated the blanket.

It's a very aggressive look for such a sweet boy.

Sweet Manna From Heaven

As poorly as Ezra is feeling, Wyatt is happy. He's enjoying the fact that Ezra is mostly unconscious and he doesn't have to share the attention quite as much.

Down For The Count

This is actually a better day, even though the fever is back up again. It's not as high as it was, but as you can see, he's still not feeling great. Heck, he's not even feeling good. I doubt he'd tell you he even felt 'fine' at this point. Gosh he's cute though.

Once Upon A Time

This is later this afternoon, doesn't he look like Ben?

My cool story for the day/week/month/year goes like this: Once upon a time there was a very sick little boy who's mommy was very worried about him. He was running a fever of 105.2, and she was about to take him to the hospital when her landlord stopped by to check on some things around the house. The landlord noticed the sweet little boy on the couch, and asked to pray for him. The worried mommy didn't hesitate. They prayed over the little boy, and the landlord went on his way. Soon after he left, the sick boy went to sleep. He slept a very deep sleep for a few hours, and when he woke, the fever was gone. Not just down, GONE. He ate dinner, asked for cookies, and drank Gatorade to his hearts content. After playing with the much relieved mommy, the little boy asked for his cup and headed to bed.

Happily Ever After.

Color Me Stupid

I just love this picture, even though its very fuzzy and dark because I took it on my phone.

He gets this goofy look with his nose all wrinkled up and his eyes squinted closed, and it makes me stupid. Stupid as in I am incapable of forming an intelligent thought when he does it.

My Sicko's

Well, this one is better, but its a cruel cycle, Ezra has it now.

He looks like death....

Drive Through Drunks

Yep, that's right, look again if you want. It's a drive through liquor store. They've got them on every corner here in Wyoming, and the funny thing is, they think it's normal!
You can purchase all kinds of alcohol here, including mixed drinks. They simply put it in a little baggy, with a twist tie, and call it a 'sealed' container.
By the way, last Thursday night there were 110 DUI arrests. Just an average night here in Gillette. This is a town with a population of 19,000. Nice...
