It's our first day all on our own, without our Daddy or Nonna to help out, and we're actually surviving each other! Everyone is getting fed, diapered, and bathed successfully! This might not seem like a huge accomplishment, but there is a lot of poop to clean up around here in a day! It's one of those daunting tasks that makes new mom's admire their own mom's ability to get a shower every day keep the house in order.
Wyatt is getting more alert everyday. It's nice to see his pretty eyes open. He's already changing a lot. He looks quite a bit like Ezra, which means he look like his daddy. Maybe someday I'll get one that looks like me....
Ezra is still getting used to the idea of having a brother here all the time. He gets a little jealous, but it's not too bad, and very understandable. He is still very sweet, and loves Wyatt. He likes to hold him, and blow on his tiny toes. That is a habit that I started with him a while ago. When I would take his shoes off I'd blow on his sweaty feet (could he be any more like his dad?!). Now he thinks that is just what you do to toes... It's pretty cute.
Well, Daddy will be home in a few hours, and that means that we should start picking up the house now. One toy put away, two taken out, two put away, three taken out... It's a never ending process. Like laundry. Or dishes. Or vacuuming. Or diapers. I suppose it's just the parenting game in general.
