A Step Back In Time

So you might be thinking that this is a little out of order, and you're right. I just got this on my computer, and thought a few of you might care to see it.

This was about ten minutes after Wyatt was born. He was so tiny! He was also looking a little irritated. The poor little guy had a rough entry, but got over that pretty quickly and is now the smiley guy we all know and love!

Kiss It All Better

This is shortly after Ezra sat on Wyatt's lap, and squished him a bit (notice the big tear). Ezra was sorry, and giving him kisses to make it better....

Big Kids

My boys are getting so big. Sitting together at the table....

Ezra likes to have Wyatt close to him, which is very sweet but a little scary when he tries to feed him.

I like that they don't really look alike (to me), but their eyes are so much the same.

On Behalf Of My Marriage

The picture of Ben biting Wyatt was simply because I think it's kinda funny. Not because you can see the top of Ben's head very clearly. I know from past pictures, taken at an even greater distance, that at least one of his sisters will appreciate the baldness!

Just a Few Pictures

Here are just some random pictures from the last month or so. The picture of Ben biting Wyatt was followed by a very defensive "But he's chewy!!!". Like that makes it all better there daddy.... I don't think so.

Wyatt Survived the arm chewing, and seems to be doing just fine.

This is Wyatt with Kylee, I'd say she's got a bit of
a crush.

Ezra was stylin' in my slippers.

The cats have been relocated. They are not happy, and tell me about it at every opportunity.

Camera Shy? Not So Much...

So we've always thought Ezra was a big ham when the camera came out. Check out the little guy here.....

My Frustration Level Is Rising

OK, so it's been a while since I've posted anything. That's because there is a picture of my brother and Wyatt that I've been trying to put on, and it won't load for some reason. I spend about twenty or thirty minutes fighting with my computer, it wins, I get frustrated and turn it off, and there is no post.

It's probably good that I can't get it on here, because every time I put text next to where I want the picture it winds up just sounding like a personal ad. He's all handsome and holding a baby, what's not to love?!

Anyway, it's a super cute picture of him holding Wyatt.

This will have to satisfy the picture craving for a while until I get inspired to ask for help (don't hold your breath).

Prozac Moment

Here we go again. I've been told I need to just start another blog, and abandon my attempt to convince anyone I'm sane.

We're not moving. I know, another change in plans. I think that the next time our plans change, I'm not telling anyone, until I've lived in the same place for a year and have no intention of moving. Ever. For any reason.

The house we were planning on moving into sold today. It was supposed to just be rented until it sold with the option of them pulling it off the market and continuing to rent to us if they chose to do so. Well, they didn't get the chance to rent it at all really.

Maybe God was saving us from killing our friends, because families shouldn't live together? Maybe 'The Force Is On Our Side', maybe it's just dumb luck, or maybe God was saving us from killing our friends, because families shouldn't live together........

Yet Another Change Of Plans

So I've been posting about what our plans are recently, and if you haven't noticed, they seem to change a lot. Well, here we go again. We found a place in Wyoming, where Ben is working, and are planning on moving the first of February.
We are hoping that it is just temporary, since he recently put in applications for a transfer to Washington. In the meantime we'll be sharing a house with Tim and Ashley until we can all find something else. We must be crazy, because this means yet another move. The good part of moving so many times in such a short time is that I've got a lot less clutter in my house!
I'm sure that living with another family will have it's challenges, for everyone, but we all just keep telling ourselves it is only temporary! It is just a three month lease, which will give us all enough time to find something else.
So when I don't post very often, and then put pictures on here and nobody knows where it is, it's the new place.
Believe it or not, I started out the new year with the intention of posting more frequently, and soon failed that. I'm going to say that I'll try to be better about it once things settle down again~ but I reserve the right to nap instead of blog.

New Year, New Adventures

We went to WA for new years. It was a fun trip, but much too short. I think everyone there wound up a little sad/irritated that we didn't spend more time with them. It's nice to be loved....

This was the begining of our trip, Ezra sleeping peacefully.

He had lots of fun playing with his Aunt Mimi(Amy) , and unfortunately this is about the extent of the pictures.

This was our trip back home. We win the award for 'Biggest Road Trip Idiots'. There were winter storm warnings and what-not in effect when we left, and we took off over three BIG passes anyway.
You can't see it very well, because it was 4:00am, and still dark, but that is a sign for a rest stop, and that is the snow about to cover it up. Hooray for being stupid. We reached a top speed of 43mph on this pass, and then didn't go over thirty for about 200 miles. That's a LONG day.

Ezra is good help with Wyatt. He won the 'Best Feeder Guy' award for the trip.

Some Old Pictures

So we're in WA for a few days, and I've been playing on my moms computer. I was snooping through some of her pictures and found this one, Ezra's first massage. This was right at a year ago, when we were still living here. I'd been giving a few massages at home (to those of you who don't already know, I'm a massage therapist) and had my table set up there.

This is from earlier this summer when we were visiting. Ezra and Zeke (his cousin) get along great. Plus they are both super cute. They make for good pictures.

A Good Place To Start

Ezra was a little overwhelmed by the gifts, but got over it pretty quickly. He enjoyed helping everyone open their presents, but the boxes were in typical kid fashion, the favorite event.

Wyatt liked his presents too, but didn't really understand that today was any different than yesterday, or tomorrow. Mostly as the parents, we like his presents for him. Cute clothes and fun toys are more for mom and dad right now.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

So here it is, as promised, our tree.

We've had to wait until tonight (Christmas Eve) to put any presents under it, because Ezra has quite the grasp on the un-wrapping concept this year.

I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures tomorrow, so enjoy your families, and the holiday, and check back with us soon!

So if the post had credits, they would be in this order,

Thanks Dad!

A Sad Day

It was a sad day for me, and a very, very happy one at the same time. We bought a new vehicle, which is happy because we got rid of the flamer truck, but sad because we also sold my 4-Runner. The truck has been nothing but trouble, and the 4-Runner has been quite the opposite. My Toyota was my first car, and I loved it. So, a few tears, a little smile, and a pile of debt.

Here it is, our new car. A 2003 Ford Explorer.

Anyone who has comments about the flamer truck, feel free to post them! All I can say is, at least we didn't have to drive it off a cliff to get rid of it. We were beginning to think that was the only way.......

Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200

Due to unforeseen car problems and the likes, we are no longer planning on moving to Spokane at this point in time. We are planning on visiting over New Years, but will all be coming back to SD.

Ahhh, The Age Of Independence

It's been a while since I put a naked picture on, so I thought it was about time. Ezra is enjoying being able to take of his clothes himself, and spends a good part of his days doing just that. Oh well, at least we're not out in public that much.

Oh Christmas Tree.....

I know what you're thinking, 'but there's no tree in this picture..' --I know. I set out to take a picture of my tree, because I really do have one, and it's pretty, but there is a gravitational pull towards the kids next to the tree, and it just didn't happen. Again.
So that's the bad news. The good news is, Wyatt is still cute, in case you were concerned.

And The Award Goes To.....

There was no special occasion for this picture to be taken, other than he was just too cute not to.

I probably should mention that he rolled over for the first time. A week ago. I know, I get the lousy blogger award here..... I was making cookies (again) and looked over at him only to notice that Ezra had shaken the pack 'n play so hard he flipped Wyatt over. Oh wait, Ezra wasn't in the room. Yeah, so I get the lousy mom award too for trying to blame it on Ezra.

F Y I

I'd just like to say that the picture of Wyatt in the post below with the cat is next to the wrong text. The cat DOES NOT sleep in his bed with him. That is in the pack'n'play by the kitchen(where they all hide from an overly exuberant Ezra). I couldn't get the text next to the right picture, and just wanted to clarify that. I'm sure some of you noticed. The cats actually got tossed out for a while one night because they were in his bed, in a wrestling match, on him. They aren't really supposed to even go in his room, because it weirds me out and cats are icky. They walk around in a litter box and then want to lay on your pillow, or even worse in this case, on your baby. I'm not okay with that. Go ahead, call PETA, see if I change my mind. I'm not saying I don't like cats, I do, or I wouldn't have two of them. They are very nice cats, but they still have litter box nasty on them.

I'm having some trouble with Blogger, and its not posting the pictures with the text... Be patient, I'll get it figured out!
