Bed Time

Both my boys like to be read to, Ezra for the stories and Wyatt because he likes to chew on them.

They are lucky enough to have a daddy with a lap to fit both of them!

Super Eater Guy

Ezra actually sat at the table with us last night, even though he didn't eat anything. We had broccoli, as you can see by the 'tree trunk' he's holding. I like to eat that part, and he figured it looked like a good idea. He didn't take a bite, but looked pretty cute.

He's Sweet On Me...

Wyatt likes to give big wet kisses, and is very pleased with himself afterward. You don't want to see the pictures of him kissing me I promise, it's not pretty....

Playing Fair

I kinda feel like I have to post pictures of Wyatt if I post pictures of Ezra, and Ezra if I post about Wyatt. It's easy to do though. The part I've got trouble with is finding new things to say, because well, frankly the thought that usually pops into my head is "Gosh they're cute!".

On The Move

We've now moved from the couch to the floor. His temperature is still high(103), but coming down a bit. He's just so cute, even sick.

Blackmail.....

This is one of those pictures I can't wait to pull out when he's about 17. Yep, it's a pink Roxy shirt. He really likes it for some reason, and I don't really care if he wears it. Daddy on the other hand.... He might not mind so much if I hadn't painted Ezra's toes pink recently. I was doing mine, and he wanted to participate! So even though he's got socks on, picture pink toes with the pink shirt and mohawk.
The nose picking just completes the look....

Tunes

As I've mentioned before, Ezra loves music. I'd just come home from a four mile run so I had my iPod on (not really a key point, but I'm proud of myself!). He goes for my iPod like a vulture to road kill. Nice mental picture huh?

The other thing I wanted to point out in this picture is my shirt. My sweet nephew Zeke made it for me. It's a dinosaur!!!!

For his 5th birthday party he made shirts for all the family members with his drawings of dinosaurs and happy spiders. I was sad that I couldn't be there, so they were kind and sent me one of my own.

The gift of music.... He's sharefull.

Easy Killer

This was a few weeks ago, when both boys were feeling good. Ezra likes(d) to play with this bag, and was kind enough to share it with Wyatt. He also shared the blanket. Wyatt attacked the bag with a vengeance, and tolerated the blanket.

It's a very aggressive look for such a sweet boy.

Sweet Manna From Heaven

As poorly as Ezra is feeling, Wyatt is happy. He's enjoying the fact that Ezra is mostly unconscious and he doesn't have to share the attention quite as much.

Down For The Count

This is actually a better day, even though the fever is back up again. It's not as high as it was, but as you can see, he's still not feeling great. Heck, he's not even feeling good. I doubt he'd tell you he even felt 'fine' at this point. Gosh he's cute though.

Once Upon A Time

This is later this afternoon, doesn't he look like Ben?

My cool story for the day/week/month/year goes like this: Once upon a time there was a very sick little boy who's mommy was very worried about him. He was running a fever of 105.2, and she was about to take him to the hospital when her landlord stopped by to check on some things around the house. The landlord noticed the sweet little boy on the couch, and asked to pray for him. The worried mommy didn't hesitate. They prayed over the little boy, and the landlord went on his way. Soon after he left, the sick boy went to sleep. He slept a very deep sleep for a few hours, and when he woke, the fever was gone. Not just down, GONE. He ate dinner, asked for cookies, and drank Gatorade to his hearts content. After playing with the much relieved mommy, the little boy asked for his cup and headed to bed.

Happily Ever After.

Color Me Stupid

I just love this picture, even though its very fuzzy and dark because I took it on my phone.

He gets this goofy look with his nose all wrinkled up and his eyes squinted closed, and it makes me stupid. Stupid as in I am incapable of forming an intelligent thought when he does it.

My Sicko's

Well, this one is better, but its a cruel cycle, Ezra has it now.

He looks like death....

Drive Through Drunks

Yep, that's right, look again if you want. It's a drive through liquor store. They've got them on every corner here in Wyoming, and the funny thing is, they think it's normal!
You can purchase all kinds of alcohol here, including mixed drinks. They simply put it in a little baggy, with a twist tie, and call it a 'sealed' container.
By the way, last Thursday night there were 110 DUI arrests. Just an average night here in Gillette. This is a town with a population of 19,000. Nice...

I think I already put this picture on here, but my mother in law was asking me how to put pictures on her blog, and in order to tell her how to do it I had to follow the steps with her..... So, here's another picture of Wyatt.

Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Guess what? Wyatt's still cute.
He's just getting to have so much personality... He gets embarrassed and wrinkles his little nose up, its so adorable. Wyatt is getting very good at grabbing hand fulls or hair, and pulling you in to give big, very wet kisses. It's really sweet, but Ezra doesn't quite get it yet, especially when Wyatt grabs an ear.... There's a bit of screaming, and then it's over. He's really good about not retaliating when this happens, and getting better at staying out of ear snatching reach.
Wyatt is thinking about crawling, but at this point it looks like too much work. Why work when you can sleep... I think he'll be chunky for a while.
Ezra is starting to talk a lot more, which as most of you know has been a bit of a concern for us, but it seems to be getting better. He says, Right Arm (when he's getting dressed), Cup, Momma, Night Night, FOOD!!!, EAT!!! (not surprising that he picked those two up if you know him at all...), Cracker, NO!, Hello, Bye, What's That?, and a few other things that aren't really words at all, but I know what he's trying to get at. Isn't that part of the job description?
He is also developing very strong likes and dislikes as far as music goes. This worries Ben a little, because one of his favorites is Ricky Martin's, Livin' La Vida Loca. It's a little embarrassing for me too really, because I have the song on my iPod, and that's how he knows it. I plug my iPod into the stereo and we rock out. I've got quite a variety of music, so he gets to hear lots of different stuff. I could spend a few minutes defending myself here, but I'll just say I like to run to that particular song, and leave it at that. I play it a lot more now, because it's so funny to watch a two year old dance like a maniac to Ricky Martin... Someday I'll be showing video of that to prospective girlfriends.... I love being the parent!
Don't worry, that's not the only song he likes, he's also a big fan of Gary Allan, Trent Willmon, Allison Krauss, and The Steve Miller Band. I like to think we haven't corrupted him yet.

My Little Trooper

This is how we spent our afternoon. At the ER with Wyatt. The poor little bugger has been coughing up a storm since about Tuesday, and was having a lot of trouble breathing, so we finally decided it was time to find out why. Since we just moved we don't have a pediatrician yet, so the hospital was our only option really.

It turns out he's got an upper respiratory infection and is going to live! Yea!!! We were glad for that news, but hadn't really thought otherwise.

It was getting close to dinner time, and he was hungry.....
He was so sweet and never even cried. Until they stuck a swab up his nose three inches.... I'd cry too.

My Big Mistake

I know there haven't been new pictures for a while, and here's my excuse-- I've been sick, and the batteries for my camera are still in hiding.
I got a gym membership this week, and even though I thought I felt like I was getting a cold, I decided that running my rear off was still a good idea. I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

So, now that I'm feeling better, as soon as the batteries come out to play, I'll have some stuff to show you all!

Look Out! It's A Dinosaur!

Ezra rarely snuggles with me anymore, so I take advantage of every opportunity to hold him that I get. Even if it means cramming myself into his little recliner to do it.

This was actually kinda funny because he was snoring REALLY loud. I called my mom to let her hear it, and before I told her what the noise was she asked, "What are you doing? You sound like a T-Rex!". She couldn't hardly believe that he could make such big sounds.

I'd also like to add that this picture makes me look a lot chubbier than I am. My arms are actually pretty toned (moving this many times will do that) so this picture upsets me a little!

The New Digs

The Delk family came by to see the new place, and Ezra, being the social butterfly that he is, ran to open the door. There are three doors right there and he was a little confused. It was a good laugh...

Our kitchen.

The living room/dining room.

Sad Good Byes

I was very sad to leave Ellie May in Rapid. Her owner John, who is a wonderful man, told me I could take her with me if I took both dogs. Unfortunately I am not able to have any pets in the new place, so we said our good byes, and parted ways. Not for long though because she ran back through the door when I went to get the mail a little later!

Just look at that face, who wouldn't love her?

Baby Bee

While we were packing up at the old house (it can hardly be called 'old' I know....) I came across a bunch of baby clothes that no longer fit Wyatt. As mom's usually do, I got a little sad about it. So rather than immediately trying to get pregnant again, I decided that it was a lot better to just cram him into the tiny clothes to satisfy the craving. I'm happy to say it worked.

This little Bee outfit is about three sizes too small, but he's just sooo cute.

Ta Da!!!

OK. Here goes nothing. I said I wouldn't post anything until things were set in stone. I guess having most of my boxes unpacked is as close to that as I'm going to get right now.
Yep. We moved. We're all in Gillette, and getting settled. We got here Saturday, and just got our Internet hooked up, so this is my first opportunity to post about it. That's probably good though, because as we all know from past experience, if I had said anything sooner, it would have changed. Again.

So once my camera batteries are charged, and I get a few pictures of the new place, I'll post them. Until then, I can assure you my boys are still very handsome. (All 3 of them)

He's a ham, need I say more?

Wyatt likes to stick his little tongue out, and in typical mom fashion, I think it's cute.

Monday, February 05, 2007

This is our traveling companion, Ellie May. She provides great comic relief.

He was very excited to open presents this time!

It's a very cute birthday vest.

I'm Very tired, but I promised Birthday Party pictures....

I'll Do It Myself....

Wyatt is getting so big and independent.... It almost makes me want another one. Almost.

A Step Back In Time

So you might be thinking that this is a little out of order, and you're right. I just got this on my computer, and thought a few of you might care to see it.

This was about ten minutes after Wyatt was born. He was so tiny! He was also looking a little irritated. The poor little guy had a rough entry, but got over that pretty quickly and is now the smiley guy we all know and love!

Kiss It All Better

This is shortly after Ezra sat on Wyatt's lap, and squished him a bit (notice the big tear). Ezra was sorry, and giving him kisses to make it better....

Big Kids

My boys are getting so big. Sitting together at the table....

Ezra likes to have Wyatt close to him, which is very sweet but a little scary when he tries to feed him.

I like that they don't really look alike (to me), but their eyes are so much the same.

On Behalf Of My Marriage

The picture of Ben biting Wyatt was simply because I think it's kinda funny. Not because you can see the top of Ben's head very clearly. I know from past pictures, taken at an even greater distance, that at least one of his sisters will appreciate the baldness!

Just a Few Pictures

Here are just some random pictures from the last month or so. The picture of Ben biting Wyatt was followed by a very defensive "But he's chewy!!!". Like that makes it all better there daddy.... I don't think so.

Wyatt Survived the arm chewing, and seems to be doing just fine.

This is Wyatt with Kylee, I'd say she's got a bit of
a crush.

Ezra was stylin' in my slippers.

The cats have been relocated. They are not happy, and tell me about it at every opportunity.

Camera Shy? Not So Much...

So we've always thought Ezra was a big ham when the camera came out. Check out the little guy here.....

My Frustration Level Is Rising

OK, so it's been a while since I've posted anything. That's because there is a picture of my brother and Wyatt that I've been trying to put on, and it won't load for some reason. I spend about twenty or thirty minutes fighting with my computer, it wins, I get frustrated and turn it off, and there is no post.

It's probably good that I can't get it on here, because every time I put text next to where I want the picture it winds up just sounding like a personal ad. He's all handsome and holding a baby, what's not to love?!

Anyway, it's a super cute picture of him holding Wyatt.

This will have to satisfy the picture craving for a while until I get inspired to ask for help (don't hold your breath).

Prozac Moment

Here we go again. I've been told I need to just start another blog, and abandon my attempt to convince anyone I'm sane.

We're not moving. I know, another change in plans. I think that the next time our plans change, I'm not telling anyone, until I've lived in the same place for a year and have no intention of moving. Ever. For any reason.

The house we were planning on moving into sold today. It was supposed to just be rented until it sold with the option of them pulling it off the market and continuing to rent to us if they chose to do so. Well, they didn't get the chance to rent it at all really.

Maybe God was saving us from killing our friends, because families shouldn't live together? Maybe 'The Force Is On Our Side', maybe it's just dumb luck, or maybe God was saving us from killing our friends, because families shouldn't live together........

Yet Another Change Of Plans

So I've been posting about what our plans are recently, and if you haven't noticed, they seem to change a lot. Well, here we go again. We found a place in Wyoming, where Ben is working, and are planning on moving the first of February.
We are hoping that it is just temporary, since he recently put in applications for a transfer to Washington. In the meantime we'll be sharing a house with Tim and Ashley until we can all find something else. We must be crazy, because this means yet another move. The good part of moving so many times in such a short time is that I've got a lot less clutter in my house!
I'm sure that living with another family will have it's challenges, for everyone, but we all just keep telling ourselves it is only temporary! It is just a three month lease, which will give us all enough time to find something else.
So when I don't post very often, and then put pictures on here and nobody knows where it is, it's the new place.
Believe it or not, I started out the new year with the intention of posting more frequently, and soon failed that. I'm going to say that I'll try to be better about it once things settle down again~ but I reserve the right to nap instead of blog.

New Year, New Adventures

We went to WA for new years. It was a fun trip, but much too short. I think everyone there wound up a little sad/irritated that we didn't spend more time with them. It's nice to be loved....

This was the begining of our trip, Ezra sleeping peacefully.

He had lots of fun playing with his Aunt Mimi(Amy) , and unfortunately this is about the extent of the pictures.

This was our trip back home. We win the award for 'Biggest Road Trip Idiots'. There were winter storm warnings and what-not in effect when we left, and we took off over three BIG passes anyway.
You can't see it very well, because it was 4:00am, and still dark, but that is a sign for a rest stop, and that is the snow about to cover it up. Hooray for being stupid. We reached a top speed of 43mph on this pass, and then didn't go over thirty for about 200 miles. That's a LONG day.

Ezra is good help with Wyatt. He won the 'Best Feeder Guy' award for the trip.

Some Old Pictures

So we're in WA for a few days, and I've been playing on my moms computer. I was snooping through some of her pictures and found this one, Ezra's first massage. This was right at a year ago, when we were still living here. I'd been giving a few massages at home (to those of you who don't already know, I'm a massage therapist) and had my table set up there.

This is from earlier this summer when we were visiting. Ezra and Zeke (his cousin) get along great. Plus they are both super cute. They make for good pictures.
